#HAWMC: Key to Happiness

I remembered this from Facebook so I googled and found it.

So what do I do? 🙂

I am an internist-endocrinologist with a private practice. This is what I get paid for, and I’d like to think I do it well. I also receive a salary to teach undergraduate medicine and graduate school (health informatics) in the university.

What I love? I love blogging! I co-founded #HealthXPh tweet chat. I am a social media and healthcare evangelist. I love teaching and sharing my presentations to the world.

What I think the world needs? The #HealthXPh social media and medical professionalism manifesto. Photos with health messages. Health information in the Filipino language. Getting the right information to the right people at the right time – that’s health informatics!  More healthcare providers on Twitter. Technology in medical education. The flipped classroom.

Let me end with this quote from Joseph Campbell –

Follow your bliss and the universe will open doors where there were only walls.

Finding your “bliss,” that sweet spot in the middle of the Venn diagram – that’s the key to happiness!
